Precautions for installation of dado

(1) Keep the wall clean

Before installation, the wall surface shall be clean, dry, flat leveled with high snapping line. In order to adapt to the local climate conditions reach the moisture content of air, the purchased wall panel shall be unpacked stored on site for at least 48 hours before installation.

(2) Design the size in advance

Before panel installation, block size shall be designed first, each block shall be straightened before trial installation. After adjustment repair, formal nailing shall be carried out to avoid disordered patterns, uneven colors, uneven edges corners, uneven surface, black lines at joints loose joints.

(3) Pull wire to check the top plate

Before operation, pull wires to check whether the top of the wall panel is straight correct in time if there is any problem. Avoid uneven thickness, splitting, etc. of the coping strip of the dado.

(4) The wall needs to be moistureproof

Due to the large moisture content of wood, it is easy to shrink after drying, resulting in uneven cracked joints. Therefore, if the wall is wet, it should be constructed after drying moisture-proof treatment.

(5) Gaps shall be left on the panel surface

The height difference of the panel surface of the wall protection panel shall be less than 0.5mm; the width of the reserved joints between the panel surfaces shall be uniform, the size deviation shall be greater than 2mm; the length deviation of the diagonal of a single panel shall be greater than 2mm; the perpendicularity deviation of the panel shall be greater than 2mm.

(6) Internal external corners should be horizontal vertical

The internal external corners of the wall panel are the key difficult points of construction, which should be paid special attention to. The internal external corners must be vertical horizontal, the butt joint splicing shall be 45 °.

(7) Skirting line batten shall be close to the panel

Skirting board batten shall be close to the panel, without too large gap. The distance between nails for fixing skirting board batten shall be more than 300 mm generally; the nail cap shall be knocked flat, the depth into the batten shall be 0.5-1.0 mm, the nail hole shall be trowelled with oil putty of the same color.
